Jenny is my latest model. Jenny is beautiful and so fun to work with. Jenny and I drove all over Middletown and she was great sport using my car as a dressing room. We explored some questionable locations and got some great shots. These are just a few of over 300. I am going to randomly post more photos as I get some more time. I told you this was going to be a long project for me but maybe by the end of the next year I will have my portfolio complete.

I recently had the opportunity to shoot the four girls below. I was shooting the hair for an upcoming competition for the hairdressers at the Michael Francis Day Spa. I shot all of these fun photos after we did the hair shoots. I will be getting back to Avant-garde shooting next week. I am so excited I just found this site for some very cool avant-garde clothing and I have ordered some for my future models. I like this photo for some reason. I know this is not the best shot but I really like the light coming through the window.

These are photos I took after the hair shoot I did. I took Morgan to a house that is across the parking lot from my studio. They are about to tear this house down so its a big artistic mess. It was perfect for Morgan's dark gothic look.

Here a few of the photos I took of my sister Jill in my avant-garde style. I dressed her and did her makeup. The outfit didn't quite work out as well as I wanted it to but the photos still came out pretty good. I wish I could of done some more full body shots but this skirt was a pain. First it is really from the 1920's and it kept on ripping all over, second it didn't fit Jill. Jill is only about 5 foot 6 inches tall so it made her look to short. The shirt is BCBG and it would have worked fine if the skirt fit. I love the hat (August Accessories) and the shoes(Guess brand). This is the first shoot I did like this. It is fun and I will be working on them all year long. Please feel free to leave comments good or bad. I can handle it.

Avant-garde (pronounced /ɑvɑ̃ gɑʁd/)
Avant-garde represents a pushing of the boundaries of what is accepted as the norm or the status quo, primarily in the cultural realm. The notion of the existence of the avant-garde is considered by some to be a hallmark of modernism, as distinct from postmodernism. Postmodernism posits that the age of the constant pushing of boundaries is no longer with us and that avant-garde has little to no applicability in the age of Postmodern art.

I am starting a year long project to work on my portfolio for High Fashion Photography. This has always been something I have been very interested in. The photographs will go beyond the "norm" and will include many different locations, dramatic makeup, hair and clothing. I will be working with a makeup artist and hairdresser who also would like
build their portfolio.

I will need models. If you would like to be considered please forward a photograph of yourself and your height, weight, measurements and shoe size. You will receive a high resolution CD of all the photographs. You dont have to have experience but you have to feel comfortable in front of the camera.
